My work will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary this year. Currently, I am researching ideas at the moment.
I will do a separate post for marketing ideas later on. This post be be mainly for events to celebrate the occasion.
Lots of small events
Our first idea was to do lots of events throughout the year for key clients. Here are some of the ideas:-
- Ascot. We were discussing hiring a mini bus and taking picnics with clients. This would be a good idea to thank current key clients for their business but it would be hard to choose new clients that would bring in future business.
- Small dinner events. Perhaps booking lunch on the Thames or a well known restaurant.
- Booking a room to watch the opening ceremony of the 2016 Olympics with open bar/ canapés.
- Night at the museum - Taking clients to a late night wine night at the Natural History Museum. It would be something to get them talking!
One Big Event
Or we might do one big event at our showroom and invite key clients. Ideas include:-
- May Day theme - Craft beers, fun fair style themed. This would be for the younger crowd.
- Italian Riviera - The main drink would be Aperol Spritz. This is a fairly low budget drink as it uses soda water. We would be lots of cream flowers and vintage pieces. This is going with the Summer theme, but making it more classy for higher end clients.
- Great Gatsby - Who doesn't love a bit of 1920s fun!
- Casino - Hire staff and make a mini casino with champagne and canapés.
All ideas are based on it being based on our showroom which isn't very big. 50 people max.
