A few years ago in South Korea, I threw a party as it was mine and a few others last Christmas over there. It worked really well. A few of the guest didn't know most people as they were visiting from the USA, but the games broke the ice and the night was a great laugh.
I didn't get a lot of pictures (we were too busy having fun!) But I thought I would write down all the party games we played.
We also did pot luck to save one person having to buy all the food and drinks. Before I met my American friends, I had never heard of pot luck. I think this is a fantastic idea. Most people hate throwing parties mainly due to the cost involved. But, if everyone is bringing food/ drink then people would be more willing to throw parties more often.
On to the games! The first thing the guest did was guess how many Christmas decorations were on my tree. The closest answer got a prize. I made sure the guest knew it didn’t include lights and tinsel.
This worked really well and I kept these to re-use in the future for a different party.
I also printed out a reindeer and a red nose. The guest had to pin the nose on Rudolf while they are blind folded. I used blue-tac to protect the walls. and charades. This would be better with an A3 paper reindeer, but I didn’t have right printer and paper for this.
